The 12th-annual National Learn to Row Day sponsored by USRowing and
Concept2 will take place on Saturday, June 1, 2013, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00p.m. at
the Pittsford Indoor Rowing Center and the Genesee Waterways Center.

The 9th Annual Armond Bassett Race is a points race for the New York
Marathon Canoe Racing Association. This year it will be a two-day event,
attracting paddlers to the Genesee River to compete in a 10-mile marathon
and a 3-mile recreational race. Click

People of all ages from all over the country will be participating in
this 15th annual cycling tour, which makes a stop in the City of Rochester
at the GWC on July 8th. The Erie Canal Cycling tour is an 8-day, 400-mile

Lockapalooza
Saturday and Sunday, August 17 & 18, 2013
Lockapalooza is a whitewater kayaking event that takes place at GWC's
Lock 32 Whitewater Park in Pittsford, NY. Enjoy this 2-day event with
activities and opportunities for people to get out on the water! For more

The 17th Annual Rochester River Challenge is an inclusive community and
Wounded Warrior Disabled Sports event celebrating the sport of outrigger
canoeing. It is a full-day affair attracting paddlers to the Genesee River
to compete in 400m sprint races. Team up with family, friends, or co-workers
for this unique and fun day on the Genesee River! This event is run by a
local non-profit organization, Cape Ability Outrigger Ohana, which
specializes in providing outrigger canoeing opportunities for individuals of

The Head of the Genesee Regatta is a two-day event offers rowing and
sculling races for scholastic, collegiate, Masters and corporate crews. The
regatta coincides with the City of Rochester's River Romance Weekend! To
