Become a Member

As a GWC member, you will be able to take advantage of all the courses and programs located at either the Genesee Valley Park Boathouse or at the Lock 32 White Water Park in Pittsford. We have a variety of rowing and whitewater kayaking equipment available for individuals who do not have their own. Secure indoor storage is available at both of our facilities. As a member, you will receive the following benefits:

• Access to the GWC facility for rowing or kayaking
• Free on-site flatwater kayak or canoe rental
• Two free guest passes for canoe or kayak rental
• [Rowing] Limit two guest visits for rowing center & equipment use per member;
  $15 to be paid at time of visit
• [Rowing] Ability to register for regattas with GWC affiliation
• [Kayaking] Affiliate Club member of American Whitewater
• Ability to reserve the conference room at a discounted rate
• 10% off registration class fees

All memberships are based on a calendar year.
Discounted memberships will be available starting August 1st of each year. 

No one under the age of 18 is allowed at Lock 32 unless registered for a 2011 program.

Secure storage lockers will be available at Lock 32 Whitewater Park for 2011.  Only a limited number of lockers available!

Registration

To register for your membership, please select the location at which you primarily spend your time;
Lock 32 Whitewater Park [ww kayaking] or the Boathouse in Genesee Valley Park [rowing/rec kayaking]. 

Boathouse Guest Policy

• Must sign the current waiver
• Pay the temporary day use membership rate ($15)
• Must be able to show sufficient skills for either white water kayaking or sculling at either location to a GWC certified instructor or Director.
