The 21st anniversary of the Head of the Genesee Invitational Regatta
will be held on the Genesee River as it winds through Genesee Valley Park.
The regatta has expanded in recent years to include two days of
competition, featuring Scholastic, Open, and Masters events on Saturday
and Collegiate teams on Sunday. The Regatta has been the headliner of
the City of Rochester's River Romance Weekend and annually draws
thousands of people to the banks of the Genesee.
Spectators can watch the
crews as they cross the finish line from the east side of Genesee Valley
Park. Competitors and staff only will be able to
access the west side of the park at GWC.
